Laudenslager Software, LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates lauden.dev. This policy describes what information we collect and what we do with it. We collect as little as we reasonably can to run the business — there is no advertising or analytics tracking on this Site to disclose.

1. Information We Collect

When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number. Stripe passes us your email address and billing information (name, billing address, and country, as required for tax and fraud purposes) so we can deliver your license key and receipt and fulfill our obligations to you.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect any information from you beyond what's needed to complete and fulfill a purchase.

2. How We Use Your Information

To deliver your license key and purchase receipt by email.
To provide customer support if you contact us.
To detect and prevent fraud, in cooperation with Stripe.
To comply with tax and legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising, marketing emails you didn't ask for, or any purpose beyond fulfilling and supporting your purchase.

3. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of strictly functional cookies — to remember the contents of your shopping cart between page loads, and to keep an administrator signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With

Stripe — processes your payment and collects billing information directly from you. Subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.
Resend — sends the transactional email containing your license key and receipt. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver that message.

We do not share your information with any other third party, and we do not use any analytics, advertising, or data-broker service on this Site.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address and purchase records for as long as needed to support your license (including reactivation after a device change) and to comply with tax and accounting obligations. If you'd like your data deleted where we're not legally required to retain it, contact us and we'll accommodate that request.

6. Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to our legitimate need to retain purchase and tax records.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
